Week One

Luke 18:15-16

Jesus tells His friends, the disciples, to let the children come to Him.

Week Two

Luke 10:38-42

Jesus visits His friends, Mary and Martha, because He wants to spend time with them.

Week Three

Matthew 8:5-13

A centurion goes to Jesus and asks for help to heal his servant, and Jesus helps him.

Week Four

Luke 7:36-50

A woman goes to Jesus and shows how thankful she is by washing His feet.

SAY THIS

Who loves you? Jesus loves me.

Morning Time

When you go into your child's room, say, "Good morning! Is there anyone in here that Jesus loves? (Look around like you don't see your child.) Anyone? (Look at your child.) Oh! Yes! YOU! Jesus loves YOU!"
 

Drive Time

As you drive or take a walk, take turns naming places that you can spend time with Jesus. Any place you name is correct, because we can spend time with Jesus anywhere! How many places can you name?

Cuddle Time

Cuddle with your child this month and pray, "Dear God, I pray (name of child) and I will always go to Jesus when we need help, just like the centurion did. Help us believe that Jesus loves us and can help us. You're the best, God, and we love You very much. In Jesus' name, amen."
 

Bath Time

Let your child pick some toy friends to bathe. Show your child how to wet them with water and then dry them. Talk about how the woman in the Bible story wet Jesus' feet with her tears and then dried them with her hair. She was so thankful that Jesus loved her no matter what.
